Day 2 - Behind the Scenes

 

Morning

 

Wake to a delicious breakfast hamper delivered to your lodge before getting ready for your exclusive VIP giraffe experience.

 

Daytime | VIP Giraffe Experience

 

Enjoy exclusive access to the giraffes' animal housing and experience an astonishingly close encounter with these gentle giants while taking part in the daily care of the herd.

 

You’ll assist with a range of keeper tasks, including:

 

• Preparing meals
• Feeding the giraffes
• Cleaning
• Supporting aspects of the keepers’ daily routines

This unique experience gives you an insight into the physical and rewarding work carried out by our animal care team.

 

You’ll be captivated by the size, elegance and quiet presence of these magnificent creatures as you stand close enough to make eye contact — a truly breathtaking moment.

 

During your experience, you’ll meet the giraffe herd, learn their names, discover their individual personalities and enjoy fantastic photo opportunities to remember your visit.
